Unfortunately, traditional education systems do not have the answer.
お仕事の現場に出るのは、
学校教育を終えたあとだと思います。
さて、そこでこう考えたことはないですか、「今までの勉強ってこのビジネスという大海原とは全然関係がなかったんじゃないか」…そう、誰しも、ビジネスに携わるほとんどの人が感じたことのある感覚ではないかなと私なりに察しています。
そう、それは間違いではないのです。なぜなら、日本の学校教育の多くは、「正解のある問題を解く力」を鍛えることに重点を置いています。
しかし、現実の社会、特にビジネスの場では、「正解のない問い」に向き合い、自分で答えを見つけ出す力が求められるのです。もちろん、学校教育が無意味だと言うつもりはありません。学校で友達を作り、集団で困難を乗り越える経験はかけがえのないものです。
ただ、その経験だけでは、子供たちが大人になったとき、「未知の未来」を切り拓くための力は十分に育まれません。学校教育の実践だけで、お子さんに未来を切り開くために「十分な性能のコンパス」を渡せているのでしょうか。
残酷な真実。
ビジネスの場面では、「答えが決まってる」わけではなく、
海図を作成するのは、自分自身なのです。
